Aleksandra is a painter drawn deeply to the experience of painting outdoors, where plein air painting offers her an opportunity to step away from the studio and connect directly with the landscape. Working from life allows her to capture not only what she sees, but also what she feels in a particular place and moment.

Inspired by the changing qualities of light, color, atmosphere, and form, Aleksandra approaches the landscape with both observation and intuition. Her plein air practice becomes a way of slowing down and truly experiencing her surroundings.

Aleksandra’s dedication to plein air painting and her distinctive approach to the landscape have been recognized through competition, including second place in the Canadian Landscape Legacy competition in Edmonton.
